The hem is the thing to look at. Rather than running straight around, the skirt crosses over itself and finishes on a diagonal, so one edge overlaps the other and the line cuts across your leg instead of sitting flat. Consider sizing down if petite!

This dress was super cute and nice quality fabric but does run large for a petite frame. I am 155 cm, larger bust, and about 64 kg and went with a large based on the recommendation. I would have went with a medium but didn't think the length would work for me for that size either. My tip, size down and consider the length if you are under say 160 cm or 163 cm.
